I lead a small engineering team by day.

I am not a full-time freelancer and I am not going to pretend to be one. I have a job I like, at a startup where I am one of three founding developers and now lead the other four. I take outside work because I want to, in the evenings and at weekends, which is why I take two clients at a time and quote honestly long timelines.

My employer knows and has approved it. Every project on this site is one I can name publicly.

    Software Developer, EduApplify

    One of three founding developers at a startup now at six people. I lead the four other developers: I plan the projects, assign the work, review what comes back, and write a large share of the code myself.

    A five-month backend internship on an LLM product. FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Docker. I was learning more than I was contributing, and I would rather say that than inflate it.

If your project needs one of these, hire someone who has done it. I will say so on the first call rather than learn it on your budget.
